Island Snowball: Houston’s Must-Try Spot for Unique Snowballs, Beignets & More

When I walked into Island Snowball it was super clean and there were so many options to choose from, even flavors I’ve never seen before. I decided to try something new, “biscoff cookie”, and I am so glad I did. It was sweet, soft, and the presentation was so pretty I almost didn’t want to eat it. We also ordered beignets, and wow, this was only me second time having them but these were INCREDIBLE. Warm, soft, sweet, and beautifully presented. I bought them for dessert that night, but honestly they didn’t even make it though the car ride home. Can’t wait to go back and try more flavors!

Just walking in the door was a pleasure. To be greeted upon opening the door was the absolute best. From the menu, the mural on the wall, and the service I was sold...... The actual taste was just the topping!! Haven't had condensed milk on snowballs in forever, but they didn't miss. When I tell you the sausage dressed with Chilli & cheese didn't play fair. I start my diet & already can't wait for my cheat day. I RATE ALL 10'S

My first time trying this place, girl up front was super nice & my snowcone was delicious ! I got a bahama mama with kool aid pickles on top. Definitely will be returning

Went in placed order for items below, everything was made to order the customer service was great. 1. Hot Cheetos boudin balls: small, not cheesy enough but good. 2. 3 piece chicken tender basket: fresh and tasty 3. Beignets w/ Chicken: fresh and tasty juicy tenders. The beignets were a little too doughy for me but fresh and hot.

One of my favorite spots. Great snowballs. Real soft ice. Nice prices. The food is real tasty. I had chili cheese fries and they were great. Come give this a try. Promise u will enjoy.

Found Island Snowball on Instagram and had to try it! The cheesecake-stuffed icee was amazing—smooth, flavorful, and not stingy with the syrup. The beignets were fresh (I saw them dropped right into the oil, not frozen or microwaved) and tasted just as good as they looked. Everything was delicious, the shop is clean, and the menu has so many flavors to choose from. Definitely a hidden gem I drive up from downtown just for this place! Give it a try you won’t be disappointed!

Saw this place on Instagram so tried it out with the family. Overall food was good. Snowballs had good flavor, they are not shy with the syrup which is always good. Portion sizes are pretty good. They got packed pretty quick. It’s a small place and there were only two people taking/making orders so it took a while to get our order out but it wasn’t a deal breaker. I had the brisket fries made all the way and it was good. My husband had the chili cheese hoagie and we got the glazed Beignets to go. Overall we would definitely come back to try other menu options.
